🇬🇦 Temporary Administrative Fee Exemption for BIETC on certain Commodities to Gabon

To reduce food costs in Gabon, the government has waived duties and taxes on certain food products with price caps for three months (March 18 - June 18, 2024). Consequently, the "Conseil Gabonais des Chargeurs" has adjusted administrative fees for BIETC issuance on select essential commodities bound for Gabon (please revert to our newsletter and check HS codes concerned by this decision).

We're committed to transparency, informing partners and clients of these temporary changes. The affected food products include frozen meat (porcine species), edible offal (bovine species), frozen chicken pieces, and other frozen fish.

Stakeholders in importing/exporting essential commodities to Gabon must stay updated on fee adjustments for seamless operations and compliance. For inquiries on these temporary updates, reach out to us.

We're here to support you every step of the way.
